About our rental
Long live the mountain jacket! The hiking pants! The sweater! The backpack and other outdoor equipment! The more years a jacket, pant or backpack is in use before the equipment is replaced by a new one, the smaller the product's ecological footprint is. Therefore, Gjendesheim offers rental of both clothing and equipment.

Eager to experience the mountains on two wheels, but don't have the equipment? Gjendesheim offers Electric bikes from Merida for rental to our guests.
Winter equipment
Randonnée skis
Forget steel edges and leather boots, randonnée equipment will do the magic. Gjendesheim has 15 pairs of light summit skis with poles, skins, boots and full avalanche safety gear.
Mountain skis
At Gjendesheim, 50 pair of Åsnes-skis with boots, poles and skins are awaiting our winter guests. Perfect for summit trips outside the trails.
Fatbike
The winter version of trail bikes are called fatbikes, and let you roll away on white and frozen ground. Gjendesheim offers five fatbikes with helmets.
Snowshoes
Did you know that snowshoes are great fun? Rent one of Gjendesheims 10 pair of snow shoes and start exploring the mountain birch woods.
Transport pulks
At Gjendesheim, we offer light transportation pulks for rent. If you want to rent a pulk for children, you should contact our neighbors at Bessheim Fjellstue og Hytter.
