Finsehytta is a great starting point for hikes heading south to Hardangervidda and north into the scenic Skarvheimen. It's the ideal spot for taking a break from the busy world outside, or just spending a weekend enjoying the various activities available at the lodge.

Finsehytta has 174 beds, in rooms and dormitories.The cabin is situated between Hardangerjøkulen and Hallingskarvet. Excellent starting point for trips going southwards Hardangervidda or up north into Skarvheimen.

How to get to Finse
Summer and Winter the only way to Finse is by train. The cabin is about a 10 minutes walk/skiing from the station (necessary to use skis or snowshoes when snow). The trains go from both Bergen and Oslo. If you are driving a car from east, we recommend to park in Geilo. Are you driving from west you can park your car at Voss. Take the train the rest of the way.
