Litlos is located on the western part of Hardangervidda. With the lodge based far away from any road, it is the perfect escape into the spectacular Norwegian nature. Hårteigen, the great landmark of Hardangervidda, lays only a day's hiking away.

The lodge offers 14 comfortable rooms with a total of 52 bunks, available in configurations of 2, 4, 6, or 8 beds. Showers are included in the price, and both hot and cold water are available.

Opening season
Litlos is open and staffed during Easter and the summer season. Outside these periods, self-service accommodation is available.

Self-service periods At other times of the year, Litlos operates as a self-service cabin and is accessible with a DNT cabin key.
How to get to Litlos
Summer Access
Take the Nor-Way Express Bus (route 180) from Oslo or Bergen to Røldal, then continue by taxi to Valldal. From Valldal, follow the cattle track to Middalsbu (a self-service cabin). From Middalsbu, it's a scenic 6-hour hike to Litlos.
Winter Access
During Easter week, express buses run from Oslo and Bergen to Røldal (Bråstøl).
From Bråstøl: Follow the waymarked route to Litlos (33 km). Alternatively, from Haukeliseter, follow the waymarked route via Hellevassbu (20 km + 18 km).

You can easily book your accommodation online, but you’re also welcome to arrive without a reservation. There will always be room — we make sure all guests are accommodated!

Cancellation policy
If a stay is canceled up to 8 days before arrival, the amount paid, minus an admin fee of NOK 300, will be refunded.
Cancellations made 0-7 days prior to arrival will be charged in full.
Benefits of being a member
If you are a DNT member, you get a discount on both accommodation and food at our cabins.
If you stay overnight for more than 2 days you will save up the price of the membership. With the membership you will receive discount on accommodation at DNT's 580 cabins. You will also receive discount on outdoor equipment and on DNT tours.
The membership fee also contributes to support our work marking and clearing paths in all our areas. With the support we are able to operate the DNT huts, arrange trips and facilitate good experiences in our forests and mountains.
