Hiking in Rondane
In Rondane you will find a lot of great summit hikes. Rondvassbu is perfect as a base for daily hikes for several of the 2000 meter peaks, and is also a natural place to stay the night if you take the round tour through Rondane.
The Triangle trail in Rondane - A classic Roundtrip

If you have four or five days at your disposal, and would like to experience Norway’s first national park, you should try this classic round trip through the Rondane mountains. The hike takes you around Rondane’s biggest continuous area of mountains, separated by Rondvatnet lake, and Illmanndalen and Langglupdalen valleys.

Hike from Hjerkinn towards the high Rondane peaks, including through Dørålglupen, also known as the ‘Gateway to Rondane’. Then continue the hike through the majestic peaks to the other side, and hike down gentle paths to Ringebu.
