Accommodation: Mårbu offers 38 beds in cozy rooms and dormitory-style lodging. Guests can enjoy a comfortable stay with shared bathroom facilities and drying rooms for wet gear.
Dining: The lodge serves traditional Norwegian cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients. A generous breakfast buffet is available each morning, along with the option to pack a lunch for the day's adventures. In the evening, guests can enjoy a delicious three-course dinner. Coffee and homemade pastries are also available during the day.
Activities: Mårbu is an excellent base for exploring Hardangervidda. In summer, marked trails lead to scenic viewpoints, mountain lakes, and rolling plateaus. In winter, the area is ideal for ski touring, with well-marked routes through the breathtaking landscape.
How to get here: Mårbu is accessible by foot, ski, or boat. During the summer season, a boat service across Mårvatn makes access easier from Synken. The most common routes to Mårbu include trails from Solheimstulen, Kalhovd and Rauhelleren. In winter, skiing is the only way to reach the lodge.
Opening times: Mårbu is open during both summer and winter seasons. The summer season typically runs from late June to mid-September, while the winter season lasts from late March to mid-April. It is recommended to check exact dates at "åpningstider" before planning your trip.

Free cancellation for all bookings up to 8 days before arrival without any charge. (Example: A stay on Friday must be canceled by Thursday the week before, no later than 23:59.)
