Peak Hikes on Foot from Snøheim

Eleven peaks over 2,000 meters can be reached from Snøheim. Safety and climbing gear are required for some of these, particularly Store Langvasstind and Larstind.

Peak Hike to Snøhetta (Stortoppen)

Description: Snøhetta is Norway's highest peak outside the Jotunheimen range. The massif consists of four main summits: Vesttoppen (2,253 m.a.s.l.), Hettpiggen (2,261 m.a.s.l.), Midttoppen (2,278 m.a.s.l.), and Stortoppen (2,286 m.a.s.l.).

Peak Hike to Vestoppen on Snøhetta

Description: While the standard route to Snøhetta goes to the main eastern peak (Stortoppen), the hike to Vestoppen (2,249 m.a.s.l.) offers a distinct trail experience and what is widely considered the best view in Dovrefjell.

Description: Situated west of Snøheim, Skredahøin (2,004 m.a.s.l.) is a long and strenuous hike that provides panoramic views from the summit.
