Winter at Finsehytta

Finse is a perfect place to go cross country skiing. The snow lasts untill the end of May and  it is a good choice for springtime skiing tours. The routes are marked with sticks, and goes in direction to other cabins, like Krækkja, Hallingskeid and Geiterygghytta. Finsehytta is nicely located to start a multiple day skiing tour in Skarvheimen or Hardangervidda, as the train station is so close.

More information

Shared guest facilities: toilets, shower room, drying room and living rooms.

The tradition of the DNT lodges is to be a safe refuge in the mountains and provide shelter and food to the Norwegian Trekking Association members and other mountain travellers. At the DNT lodges we offer beds, not rooms.

We strive to place travel companions in rooms of their own, but in busy periods our guests should expect to share room with other mountain travellers at the self-service cabins and some of our lodges.
