Rondane has something for all tastes, 2,000-metre-plus summits and waymarked routes through the valleys. This is a classic round trip between lodges at Easter time. The lodges are not staffed before and after Easter.

Each day’s leg varies from 11 to 21 km in relatively easy terrain.
Day 1 Mysuseter to Rondvassbu
The skiing trip starts at Mysuseter and goes up through an area of cabins up to Spranget. You can see the Rondane peaks from here. The skiing trip to Rondvassbu takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Day 2 Rondvassbu to Øvre Dørålseter
After a good night’s sleep at Rondvassbu lodge, you head off north up the valleys Rondvassdalen and Bergedalen towards Øvre Dørålseter lodge in relatively flat terrain
Day 3 Øvre Dørålseter to Bjørnhollia
Ski up Langglupdalen valley between the mountains Rondeslottet and Høgronden. The views are spectacular! After a while, you come down to the birch zone to Bjørnhollia lodge. Enjoy a delicious dinner and a few pages of your book by the fire before calling it a night.
Day 4 Bjørnhollia to Rondvassbu
Illmanndalen valley awaits on the final day, with great skiing across to Rondvassbu lodge.
