SAGA
SAGA is DNT's long-distance route from Lillehammer to Snøhetta—225 km across Ringebufjellet, through Rondane and Dovrefjell. The entire route follows the Norwegian Trekking Association's marked trails, with accommodation in serviced and self-service cabins.
Cabins along SAGA
When you hike SAGA, you will visit at least 11 cabins. The cabins are beautifully located and offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. Arriving at a new cabin every afternoon is an enjoyable part of the trek. Plan your trip thoroughly and read about all the cabins on Ut.no. Remember to check the opening hours and seasons, and we recommend booking your stay in advance.
Be considerate of the wild reindeer on a trip
The wild reindeer's habitats are under pressure. This is how you can pay attention if you are in a wild reindeer area.
