Explore Rondane

Rondane is one of our most classic mountain areas. In Norway's first national park, there are hiking opportunities for everyone. For a couple of hundred years, Rondane has attracted hikers, skiers and artists alike. Hiking tourism has long traditions here, with Rondvassbu being the first tourist cabin, built in 1927. In Rondane there are several 2000-meter peaks, such as Rondslottet, Høgronden and Storronden. Many people come here who want to challenge themselves with solid summit hikes that do not require climbing. Rondane is also suitable for those who want to stroll on T-marked trails through lush valleys such as Illmanndalen.
