Explore Dovrefjell
Dovrefjell is a magnificent mountain region spanning from Dovre in the south to Oppdal in the north. It encompasses the vast high-mountain plateau where the counties of Innlandet, Trøndelag, and Møre og Romsdal meet. The original Dovrefjell National Park was established in 1974, covering an area of 265 km2. However, in 2002, the protected area was significantly expanded with the creation of Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, which today spans an impressive 1,830 km2.

At Dovrefjell there are 10 DNT cabins. The route network in Dovre has been built up over many years, and here you will find both short family-friendly summit hikes and longer demanding cabin-to-cabin trips.
SignaTur - SAGA from Lillehammer to Snøhetta
SAGA is DNT's long-haul route from Lillehammer to Snøhetta. 220 km over Ringebufjellet, through Rondane and Dovrefjell. All on the Norwegian Trekking Association's marked trails, with accommodation in serviced and self-service cabins.
