Explore Dovrefjell
Dovrefjell is the mountain area between Dovre in the south and Oppdal in the north. Dovrefjell is often considered to be the entire high mountain area in the border areas between Innlandet, Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal. Dovrefjell National Park was established in 1974 and was then 265 km2, but in 2002 the area was significantly expanded with the establishment of the Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park, and is today 1830 km2.
