A great round trip that takes you around the entire spectacular Snøhetta massif. On large parts of the trip, you have high mountain peaks in all directions.
Follow these tips when traveling in mountainous areas with wild reindeer:
- Follow marked trails
- Stay still if you see wild reindeer, so that they can move away undisturbed
- Use binoculars and keep your distance
- Keep dogs on a leash
- Stay low in the terrain and move in the wind so that the animals do not get the smell from you
- Keep an eye on the dog and follow the rules on leashing
