Litlos is located on the western part of the Hardangervidda plateau, in an area well-suited for fishing. The terrain around the lodge offers hiking options both on and off marked trails, attracting experienced hikers in both winter and summer.

Facilities
- Beds: 52 beds across 14 rooms (configured as 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-bed rooms).
- Sanitary: Hot and cold running water in the hallways, and coin-operated showers.
- Power & Communications: The cabin is powered by a generator. A satellite telephone is available for rent (there is no mobile coverage).
- Rentals: Canoes, rowboats, and life vests are available for rent.
