Located 1,830 meters above sea level, Gaustatoppen Turisthytte offers a modernized café operated by DNT Telemark, serving hot meals, beverages, and traditional waffles daily during the season.
Approximately 50,000 waffles are served here annually. The menu offers simple hot meals, beverages, and the traditional Gausta waffle served with sour cream or jam.
The cabin is fully licensed to serve alcohol. Consequently, consuming brought-along food or drinks inside the café or dining room is not permitted.
