The area surrounding Bjørnhollia offers a variety of day hikes, ranging from high-altitude summit climbs to gentler valley walks.
Summit Hike to Høgronden (2,118 m)
Høgronden offers spectacular views and is one of the 2,000-meter peaks in Rondane that can be reached relatively easily on a day trip from Bjørnhollia.
Hike to Musvoldsæter
An easy, pleasant walk along the old cart road leading down toward Lake Atnsjøen. Musvoldsæter was the first major tourist cabin in eastern Rondane and is currently privately rented out on a fixed-term basis. The hike is approximately 2.5 kilometers each way.
