Øitangen consists of four distinct rental cabins: Forvalterboligen, Låven, Sjøbua, and Hovedhuset. Together, they offer a total of 52 beds. DNT Øitangen is highly versatile and accommodates large groups—such as businesses, schools, and organizations—as well as families, couples, and solo travelers. The property is open for bookings all year round.

The Annual Cabin Release (Hytteslipp)
On the first Monday of November each year, we open bookings for the entire following calendar year.
DNT Members: Early access starts at 10:00 AM, and bookings open for everyone at 2:00 PM.
We highly recommend booking directly online at hyttebestilling.dnt.no for the fastest results. Bookings sent via email will be processed chronologically in a queue, but online booking is much faster.
To qualify for member pricing when renting an entire cabin, at least half of the people in your party must be DNT members.
Property Amenities:
The rental area features expansive outdoor spaces, a sandy beach, and a private pier. Every cabin is fully modernized with electricity, running water, a bathroom with a shower/toilet, and a fully equipped kitchen (including a stove, refrigerator, small freezer capacity, and dishwasher).

Capacity: 11 beds across 4 bedrooms.
Accessibility: Equipped with a wheelchair ramp.
Features: Cozy indoor fireplace for warmth and atmosphere.
Booking: Must be rented in its entirety (cannot book individual beds/rooms).
