School trip to DNT cabin in Oslomarka
DNT Oslo and Omegn has several cabins that are adapted for school classes, both in the field and in the mountains. A DNT cabin is a good arena for learning and physical activity, and a class trip can help meet many requirements in the curriculum while also being a valuable social experience.

The children can also go exploring, and learn about nature and adventure in our activity trails.
Kobberhaughytta in Nordmarka
Kobberhaughytta is DNT Oslo og Omegn's main hall in Oslomarka. The cabin is located high and free in the southwest of Nordmarka and has a unique fireplace lounge with panoramic views of Sørkedalen, Bærumsmarka and the southern part of Krokskogen.
Mustadkroken at Krokskogen
This is the association's largest unmanned DNT cabin in Marka with room for 30 people and including electricity, the comfort is in place. It is a stately log cabin, which is sun-facing on top of a small hill.
Nydalshytta in Lillomarka
Nydalshytta is one of the larger cabins in Marka, and offers many opportunities for larger groups. The cabin has electricity and water, and is a great starting point for school classes and kindergartens.
Starboard on Gressholmen
Styrbord is the largest DNT cabin on Gressholmen and is intended for groups, school classes, teams and associations and also groups of friends. The cabin is idyllically located in the inner Oslofjord. From Gressholmen you have a fantastic view out over the fjord and into large parts of the city and the countryside.
Mountain cabins
Many of our cabins in the mountains are well adapted for school classes. Some are close to public transport and parking, and many of the serviced cabins have their own rooms that school classes can use. The cabins usually have equipment and arrangements for various activities and hosts who are helpful with tips and information about trips and opportunities in the area.
