The following conditions apply to membership in DNT.
Validity: Membership with The Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT) follows the calendar year and is valid from January 1st to December 31st. Sales for the following year's membership open on November 1st.
Personal Use: Membership is strictly personal and non-transferable.
No Refunds: There is no right of withdrawal or refund on paid memberships.
Categories & Discounts: Membership categories are based on age. However, recipients of disability benefits (minimum 50%) are eligible for Senior Membership rates.
Proof of Membership: The membership is not valid until payment has been processed. A valid membership certificate includes either the official DNT mobile app, a physical card issued directly by DNT, or a bank-stamped/validated payment receipt.
