The view on a clear day from Tverreådalskyrkja takes your breath away. From the top you can see the Tafjord mountains in the north, the large long Jostedalsbreen glacier and Hurrungane and Jotunheimen with the many alpine peaks in the south.
Summit hike to Middalsnosi from Nørdstedalseter

If you want to see Jotunheimen up close, you won't find a nicer vantage point! The mountain peak Liabrekulen (1910 masl) is located right up from the DNT cabin Nørdstedalseter and has the most beautiful view of Jotunheimen! Here you can see the entire range of peaks in Jotunheimen and towards the high and fine peaks in Breheimen, from Hestbrepiggane, via Holåtindane and Tverrådalskyrkja to Lodalskåpa that sticks out over the ice cap on Jostedalsbreen.

From Middalsvatnet above the serviced tourist association cabin Nørdstedalseter to Fortun down by the Sognefjord, there is a gravel road over 30 kilometers long with a height difference of 1300 meters from top to bottom.
