Route Description: OMVEIEN
Rather than prioritizing the fastest route between two points, OMVEIEN is designed to showcase the varied valleys and mountain landscapes between eastern and western Norway. The itinerary highlights key alpine terrain across the region, with options for optional side trips and extensions along the way.
Henning shows the way
True to tradition, we send out the general manager of DNT Oslo and Omegn, Henning Hoff Wikborg, as the first person on our new long-haul route OMVEIEN. Check out Henning's tips for planning and packing a backpack, and follow his trip from day to day - maybe you will be inspired to do the trip yourself too?
