Bergsdalen and Kvammafjella is a varied mountain area located between Vaksdal, Bulken, Kvamskogen, and the Hardangerfjord in Vestland County. The area is situated approximately a 1.5-hour drive from Bergen.
Bergsdalen and Kvammafjella offer an accessible network for cabin-to-cabin trekking. The trails are well-maintained, and several routes are suitable for families with children. The area also features multiple lakes available for fishing and swimming.
Summer Routes: DNT summer trails are marked with painted red Ts on cairns and rocks along the way.
Winter Routes: During the winter season, several routes between the cabins are temporarily marked with birch twigs (staked winter routes).
