Solheimstulen tourist cabin is idyllically located in the mountain landscape, with easy access all year round.
By car
There is a year-round road leading all the way to the cabin. Turn off from County Road 40 (fylkesvei 40) approximately 13 km north of Uvdal, following the signs for Solheimstulen and Uvdal Skisenter. Follow the road straight ahead for 14 km until it ends right in the courtyard at Solheimstulen.

Parking
Parking at Solheimstulen is free for overnight guests, making it easy for those who want to explore the area on foot or on skis. Parking within the Solheimstulen property is strictly reserved for overnight guests, daytime visitors, and café guests (free of charge). Other visitors are kindly asked to park outside our property, further down Jønndalsvegen.
Note: An automatic toll barrier (Norgesbom) is installed on Jønndalsvegen. License plates are automatically registered upon exit, and payment must be made via www.youpark.no. More information is available at the toll station.
Public transport The nearest bus stop is Hagenkrysset, located 14 km from the cabin (see entur.no for timetables). Buses connect to and from the train stations in either Geilo or Kongsberg. Overnight guests can arrange a pickup from Hagenkrysset in advance via email for an additional fee.
