Around Ramfjellet (The West Diamond)

Discover a completely different kind of mountain vacation by exploring the landscape from a new perspective. Circling the base of a massif rather than climbing its peaks has become an increasingly popular way to experience the mountains.
This pleasant multi-day loop takes you deep into the heart of Skarvan and Roltdalen National Park, an expansive and untouched area of forests and peaks. Starting and ending at the Bjørneggen cabin in Meråker, this accessible hike winds through a varied landscape rich in cultural heritage, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere at both Schulzhytta and Ramsjøhytta.

Around Sylan

This classic multi-day trek offers unforgettable experiences as you circle the spectacular Sylan massif. The hike takes you through a breathtaking landscape, with the dramatic peaks, glaciers, and steep ridges of the massif constantly in view.
Along the way, you will experience a wonderful blend of traditional Norwegian mountain farming culture at the cabins and classic Swedish alpine traditions at the mountain stations. While many hikers choose to start at Storulvån on the Swedish side, Nedalshytta is an equally excellent starting point.

Hytter langs Syltriangelet
Norway Across (Norge på tvers)
7 days
Sylan offers an expedition experience unlike any other mountain range in Scandinavia. On this trek, you can cross the entire width of Norway along the 63rd parallel north, starting at the fjord in Stjørdal and ending right at the Swedish border in Tydal.
The official Norway Across tour follows the Norwegian Trekking Association's (DNT) marked trails, with overnight stays at a mix of staffed and self-service cabins. Although it is a demanding multi-day trek, the network of cabins means you can leave your tent, sleeping bag, and heavy food supplies at home.
