The Route: From Valle to Øitangen
Launching your kayak at Valle is easy. Simply cross the bridge by the local Spar grocery store to access the floating pier.
Once on the water, you will paddle through a maze of idyllic islands, including Vestre Vågøy, Langøy, and Gumøy, before navigating through the scenic Arøysund strait. The final leg requires crossing the Jomfrulandsrenna channel before arriving at Øitangen. This trip is perfectly suited for an overnight adventure, with comfortable accommodation waiting for you at DNT Øitangen.
