Bo ute i Nordmarka
Vi tilbyr overnatting i gapahukene våre, som ligger rett ved Kobberhaugtjernet. Her kan du sove godt utendørs, under tak. Vi har også utrolig behagelige hengekøyer fra Amok til utleie. Sommerstid kan du også leie svevetelt - dette er en hybrid av telt og hengekøye, hvor du kan sove svevende mellom trærne.
The shelters (room for 8 in each) can be rented with or without firewood/charcoal. Meals are not included when you spend the night in the shelters, but this can be ordered outside. Contact us for a quote.
The shelters are basically self-service. This means that food, fuel or sleeping bags/sleeping mats are not included. You have to bring this yourself. The shelter area must also be cleared after use.
It is not allowed to cut down trees or take down dry spruces on the cabin's property, but it is possible to buy firewood from us. Then you don't have to drag heavy bags of wood up with you, and can still enjoy dinner in front of the campfire. If there is a risk of forest fires, it is NOT allowed to light a fire.
Hoverwork tents
During the summer months, you can rent a hover tent from us. A hover tent, or tree tent if you will, is simply a tent that is strapped up between three trees. It's a bit like a mix of hammock and tent. You get the benefits of a tent by lying relatively flat. As well as the benefits of a hammock, in that you lie above the ground and float between the trees.
In addition, you can remove the rain cover, and then only the mosquito net is between you and the starry sky. It is simply an overnight experience.
When you wake up in the morning, you can open up the mosquito net and get nature right into your sleeping bag. Doesn't that sound amazing?
Due to limited space around the cabin, it is not allowed to camp in the cabin area. Here, the rule of the right of public access that you must be at least 150 meters away from buildings applies (also applies to the shelters). If you are far enough away, and not a nuisance, you are most welcome to pitch your tent. There are many nice tent sites along the water.
If you want a hot shower, a good dinner and a filling breakfast, this can be ordered by contacting us by email (subject to availability).
Rent a hammock
With us you can rent hammocks from Amok! Their unique hammocks allow you to lie flat, on your back, on your side or on your stomach.
They come with sleeping mats, mosquito nets and tarps. You can also rent a sleeping bag!
