Stavali is an excellent base for fishing, with several high-quality lakes located nearby. Guests can borrow boats and fishing equipment free of charge by agreement with the hosts. The boats are located at Lonavatnet and Trollavatnet, and life jackets are available in most sizes.

Our Local Lakes
Trollavatnet
Trollavatnet features a distinct, almost lunar-like landscape and offers some of the best fishing conditions in the Stavali area. A boat is available for guests to borrow here. The hike up to the lake is steep and demanding, providing expansive views of the surrounding mountains.
Lonavatnet
Lonavatnet is located a short 20-minute walk from Stavali. The area features white sandy beaches under the view of the Helnaberg mountain, making it ideal for fishing, swimming, or a relaxing day after a long hike. Guests can fish from the shoreline or use the boat stationed at the lake.
Stavalivannet
Stavalivannet is also located a 20-minute walk away, but in the opposite direction of Lonavatnet. The trout here averages around half a kilo and is known to bite easily.
