As an employee in the café, you are involved in the entire process from preparing for opening, carrying out production and sales throughout the day and cleaning up during and after closing time. The tasks are, for example, baking waffles, making coffee, putting out baked goods, standing at the checkout, cleaning and cleaning. Cleaning the hall and toilets is part of the tasks that must be carried out.
The working hours are primarily Saturdays and Sundays. In high season there can be up to two weekends a month, in low season somewhat less. The position can be expanded to include breakfast, lunch and dinner services if desired.
For the position as café employee, we are looking for you who:
Likes to work in the kitchen
Likes to meet people and offer yourself
Thrives on taking responsibility
Is independent, orderly, service-minded and flexible
Preferably experience from the service industry
Preferably are over 18 years old, at least 16 years old
The work at Sæteren Farm will vary, and depends on both season and weather conditions. With us, you must enjoy working in busy surroundings in teams with others, but also in quiet periods where you have to work more independently.
As a café employee, you are the face of Sæteren Gård, and you represent DNT. It is therefore important that you always meet all guests with a smile and an attitude to give the guest the best possible experience here with us. Personal qualities will be emphasized.
What you can expect from us: We offer a workplace with a young and good environment, with varying tasks and work pace. We aim to offer our guests a café with good food and a pleasant atmosphere, where we serve the best cinnamon rolls in the field.

About the employer: Sæteren Gård is the children's hiking place in Bærumsmarka. We are an accommodation that is adapted especially for children's groups, but we also accept company groups. In addition, we have an open café on weekends, where we serve homemade baked goods, waffles and lunch. The cabin is a day trip destination for Bærum's population all year round, and we have many day visitors here with us. It is families with children who are our largest target group.
We are a nice group of both full-time and part-time employees, and we are now looking for a new person who wants to join the team.
