Lysefjorden turisthytte is a serviced tourist cabin and is open between May and October, and here you book a room. Here you can get accommodation in a room with a private shower and toilet, or cheaper accommodation in a multi-bed room. There is a wheelchair accessible room and rooms where you can bring your dog. Beautifully prepared meals are served in the pleasant restaurant in the main building. Take a morning swim in the Lysefjord and let the evening peace descend in the pleasant fireplace lounge.
Perfect base for experiencing the Lysefjord
Lysebotn is an incredibly beautiful place! Here there is such a mighty nature that even the largest can feel quite small at the foot of sky-high and steep mountains. Located right next to the ferry landing, the colorful Lysefjorden tourist cabin is a good starting point for both short and longer trips. The sights are in a row and below you will find a number of good activity tips for all tastes and needs. The cabin is also a good starting point for trips to Kjerag and Flørlitrappene 4444, and is located midway on the hike Lysefjorden Rundt.
Bed linen is included in the price
For hygienic reasons, sleeping bags are not allowed on site. Bed linen is included in the price.
Dogs are welcome
Dogs are also welcome at the Lysefjord tourist cabin. Please contact us in advance to check if there is space available in the rooms where dogs are allowed. Remember that you need to keep your dog on a leash. We charge NOK 100 per night for extra cleaning in the dog rooms.
