Lysebotn is beautifully located at the heart of the Lysefjord, has an international environment, great nature, is close to the starting point of the trip to Kjerag and is an important part of the Lysefjord around!
Lysefjorden turisthytte is owned by the Stavanger Trekking Association, and has over 100 beds, as well as its own restaurant and kitchen garden. It was fully restored in the spring of 2022, and painted in the colors of the rainbow with street art on the walls. The cabin is certified as an eco-lighthouse.
We offer a versatile job that also offers a lot of social work. Here you work an intensive week (start on Wednesday or Friday) and have a week off, but it is also possible with other solutions. We have our own staff housing. There are good opportunities for hiking, swimming (50 meters to the fjord) and relaxing both before and after work.

Tasks: Here you get a unique opportunity to contribute to the daily operation of a tourist cabin, with varied tasks such as: dining, customer care, cleaning and gardening. In addition, there are good opportunities to unfold in the kitchen, for those who enjoy this. Working at a tourist cabin is exciting and educational and will give you many challenges, development and lots of joy.
You:
Likes to work with people and offer yourself
Is responsible, servitude-minded and structured
Flexible in terms of working hours
Speaks a Scandinavian language
Positive about challenges
Qualifications:
Aged 18 or over
Speaks good English
Experience from similar work (but it is not a requirement)
Targeted, structured and independent
Must enjoy being able to live at work and socialize with the others
At least be able to work 3-4 weeks a season. (Those who can work the whole season will be preferred)
And if you love to cook, and are interested in hiking, then that's a plus.
We prioritize those who come from the area around the Lysefjord, Ryfylke or the Stavanger region. Unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to have employees live with us during the free periods.
For the right people, it will be possible to get extra responsibility and expanded tasks. Are you the right person for such a job, or do you know someone who can be a good fit?
