Whether you're seeking a quiet break with panoramic views of majestic fjords or a spectacular sunset from a mountaintop, we can almost guarantee a unique nature experience at these locations.

Fannaråkhytta in Jotunheimen

Fannaråkhytta is Norway’s highest tourist cabin, perched at 2,068 meters above sea level. From here, you can see the jagged peaks of Hurrungane, Smørstabbrean, and Jostedalsbreen. Witnessing a 360-degree sunrise over the Jotunheimen peaks is a sight you will never forget.

Brydalsseter by the Sognefjord

is a charming cabin on a traditional mountain farm above Ortnevik in Sogn. It is beautifully situated on a mountain ledge within the Stølsheimen Landscape Protection Area, overlooking the Sognefjord.

Fuglemyrhytta in Oslomarka

This is Norway’s most visited "near-city" cabin. The hike to the cabin is an experience in itself, leading you through ancient forests that have remained untouched for a century. Upon arrival, you are greeted by an expansive view of Nesoddlandet and the Oslo Fjord.

The Skåla Tower and Skålabu at Jostedalsbreen

The Klouman Tower at the summit of Skåla (1,843 m) is undoubtedly Norway’s, if not the world’s, most unique tourist cabin.

Next to the iconic tower sits Skålabu. Built in 2016 to replace the tower as the main cabin, Skålabu offers modern facilities while keeping the view just as powerful. Staying overnight allows you to witness the magical light of both dusk and dawn, truly unforgettable!

The Northern Lights Observatory in Alta

Located at 907 meters above sea level, this historic cabin dates back to 1899. Here, you can spend the night in a restored building with a magical 360-degree view. The cabin features a glass dome atop the old observatory tower, allowing you to stargaze in all directions. It is even possible to sleep in the dome in your own hammock.

Fivla in Breheimen

Fivla is nestled above the tree line on the route between Vigdalsstølen and Navarsete. A short walk from the cabin leads to the Fivlenosi viewpoint (1,466 m), where you can see all of Jotunheimen and much of Breheimen laid out before you.

Vollasetra in Sunndal and Trollheimen

Vollasetra is a beautiful traditional summer farm located above Vollan Farm in Sunndal. The buildings date back to around 1860 and have been lovingly restored by the Kristiansund and Nordmøre Trekking Association.

Hovdehytta in Asker and Oslomarka

From Hovdehytta in Vestmarka, you get a panoramic view of the fjord stretching from Asker to Oslo. Located on a plateau, it serves as an excellent starting point for afternoon walks or longer excursions deeper into the forest.

Kjølihytta in Sylan

Kjølihytta is perched in an open, high-altitude landscape under Kjølifjellet, offering impressive views east and south toward the Sylan massif, Skardørsfjella, Vigelfjella, and Riasten.

Gaustatoppen Turisthytte in Telemark
