Increase your knowledge about avalanches and avalanche risk. Every winter, DNT Fjellsport arranges several avalanche courses and trips with a focus on avalanches. On these courses and trips, you will learn, among other things, how to travel safely in challenging terrain, as well as to find the good, safe snow that gives you pure joy and maximum out of the trips with a group of friends.
We have avalanche courses for those who are completely new to travel in avalanche terrain, but also courses for advanced students who want in-depth knowledge of snow cover, weather, group dynamics and human factors.
About our course leaders, instructors and tour guides
Our course leaders and instructors are glacier, climbing and avalanche instructors, qualified and approved according to the Norwegian Mountain Sports Forum's National Standard - the highest Norwegian certification in mountain sports. DNT is an approved organizer according to the same standard, which requires the use of recognized technical methods for course implementation and training.
