What does DNT ReTuren repair?

- Jackets
- Pants
- Mid-layers
- Wool base layers
- Backpacks
- Tents
- Sleeping bags
How much does it cost to repair outdoor clothing and gear at DNT ReTuren?
-
We will give you a price estimate when you drop off your item and will contact you if the repair turns out to be more expensive.
-
Different solutions affect the price, which is why we want you to share your preferences before we begin. Damage varies, and there are many ways to fix an item. At DNT ReTuren, we focus on finding the right solution together with you. Some customers just want a functional fix, while others want the item to look as close to new as possible.
-
Zippers are a very common issue at our workshops. In many cases, it is enough to replace just the slider—the small part that moves up and down. This costs around NOK 250. If the entire zipper needs to be replaced, it is a more extensive job. We offer several solutions for this, which you can see in the price examples in the images below.
Are the repairs at DNT ReTuren visible?
DNT ReTuren wants to inspire people to choose repair over buying new. Therefore, you can choose to have your item repaired with our signature red DNT thread to make the fix visible.
We can make the repair as discreet as possible, or we can make a statement out of it—for example, by using a contrasting color for the patch covering a hole. The choice is entirely up to you.
