                Leave no trace principles
Nature has room for everyone. We want to get as many people out on a trip as possible, while taking good care of nature and ourselves. To achieve this, it is important that everyone shows good hiking sense!
- Take all waste home with you
Leave only your own footprint when you are on a trip. Feel free to bring any waste you find on the road.
- Show good toilet sense, take the paper with you in a bag
Dig a hole in the ground and cover. Place the paper in a bag and take it with you. Keep your distance from paths, picnic areas and streams.
- Show consideration for the locals
Cabins and homes are entitled to a private zone. Show parking and camping sense. Read more about the right to roam.
- Remember the bonfire ban and show bonfire sense
There is a general ban on bonfires from 15 Apr to 15 Sept. Here are the things you should think about before making a fire.
- Show respect for animal and bird life
Animals and birds are vulnerable. Keep your distance, close gates and check traffic restrictions for the area you are in.
- Show consideration for others
There are many people who are out hiking and love nature. Whether you're exercising or just on a Sunday walk: Pay attention, and slow down if necessary.
