
By train and bus to Femundsmarka
Femundsmarka is located on both sides of the mighty lake Femunden. The lake is 201 square kilometers and is Norway's third largest. It stretches six miles north from Femundsenden in Hedmark to Nordvika in Sør-Trøndelag.
Train to Femundsmarka
If you are going on a trip in Femundsmarka, it is easiest to take the train to Røros and continue by bus or taxi. It is also possible to get to Elgå by bus.
Train to Røros and bus to Synnervika pier
The Røros Line has daily departures from Oslo and Trondheim. Check train schedules on vy.no. Continue by bus number 540 to Synnervika. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Find bus times in entur.no
By bus to Elgå and on to Svukuriset
