Access to Eiksetra tourist cabin is easy and accessible, regardless of the season. From the main road, a 5.1 km long gravel forest road leads before you arrive at the cabin. There is a toll for driving up, and a large parking lot outside is free.

Year-round road from Egge in Lier. Toll of NOK 30 per pass. Paid via youpark.no. From Egge there is a forest road of 5.1 kilometers that takes you all the way to Eiksetra tourist cabin. In winter, the gravel road is plowed, and Eiksetra is a favorite starting point for those who go cross-country skiing, or want to test Lier's best toboggan run.
