Cycling Tour de Dovre
Type of trip: Cycling
Gradient: Demanding
Tour de Dovre is an absolutely fantastic bike ride in the mountains! Summit hike to Høgronden from Bjørnhollia
Type of trip: Summit tour
Grading: Demanding
Høgronden (2118 masl) has a spectacular view, and is one of the peaks in Rondane that you can reach relatively easily on a day trip from Bjørnhollia tourist cabin. The trip is suitable for those who are in good shape and want a real summit trip, without it being scary. There are no thin edges to be crossed here. But the hike is quite long and steep, so you should have practiced a little in advance. A good piece of advice is to stay at Bjørnhollia for a few days and go for a couple of shorter walks the days before.
