Hytta ligger vakkert til ved vannet Storkrækkja med utsyn mot Hallingskarvet. Her er det et åpent og lyst landskap med følelse av vidde. Bli noen dager for å bli kjent i dalene og på nutene i nordvest - eller nyt vidda mot sør.
The cabin has 85 beds, with 2-, 3-, and 4-bed rooms and a dormitory.
The cabin has a laundry room, drying room, showers and generator power. We serve breakfast and a three-course dinner/plate dish.
Here you can go from cabin to cabin or stay permanently for several days. The terrain is easy to walk and suitable for people of all ages. Around the cabin there are good fishing and hiking opportunities and a rich animal and plant life. We have canoes and a rowing boat for rent.
Krækkja is easily accessible, in the middle of DNT's grid. From the cabin, there are marked trails in several directions, including Finse, Kjeldebu, Tuva, Haugastøl.
If you want to camp near the cabin, you can pay for a tent space and in that way use the cabin's facilities.
