Access winter
By public transport
In winter, you take a car or train/bus to Haugastøl, from here it is about 12 km along a marked trail to Krækkja.
For train times see vy.no and for bus times see skyss.no.
By car
Parking at Haugastøl, as the road may be closed at short notice. Alternatively, you can park at Fagerheim and follow the twig trail for about 4 km.
Passenger and luggage transport:
Do you want to be picked up or not have to carry your backpack into the cabin? Then you can arrange passenger and luggage transport from Fagerheim by appointment with us.
Access summer
By public transport
In the summer, you can take a bus/train to Geilo and a local bus on to Fagerheim. From here it is 5 km to walk.
By car
Alternatively, you can also drive by car to Fagerheim (P).
Passenger and luggage transport by boat by agreement with the hosts.
