Single trip with DNT
Singles trips are similar to regular group trips, just a bit more social. On DNT’s singles trips, you’ll meet other outdoor enthusiasts in a relaxed and informal setting. You have nothing to lose. And who knows, you might even meet the love of your life.
The mountains offer a much better meeting place than the city. Here, you connect with people who share your interests, and conversations flow easily by the fireplace in the evening. Maybe the fresh mountain air even makes your heart beat a little faster?

Mountain check rules
It's so easy to get into conversation when you're in the mountains. You can just ask where you have been on a trip and then you are good to go. Always keep DNT's Mountain Check Rules in mind when you are looking for a mountain flirt, so the chance of a bite is greater!
1. Feel free to go on a check-in in the mountains without training. Practice makes perfect!
2. Report where you are going, so that you can meet again.
3. Show respect for other people's hat color. Green hat means free, red hat means busy and orange may mean open for contact.
4. Get weatherproof – and get an extra day to find your chosen one.
5. Always bring plenty of hiking snacks that can be shared. The way to the heart often goes through the stomach.
6. Listen to experienced mountain checkers.
7. Remember a map and compass, so you can ask for help using it.
8. Don't go alone, ask if you're going to join them.
9. Turn around on time, there's no shame in running after to ask for the phone number.
10. Don't skimp on your smiles and laugh at bad jokes if necessary.
