Cabin to cabin tours on Hardangervidda

Hardangervidda is Northern Europe's largest high mountain plateau. Here there are large, flat plateaus, fishing opportunities galore, rich animal and plant life and spectacular waterfalls. In this fantastic area you will find a wide range of serviced and self-service DNT cabins, a well-organized grid and is a perfect place for those who want to walk from cabin to cabin.

Child-friendly hike on Hardangervidda

In the north of Hardangervidda, the terrain is gentle and the paths are easy to walk. Here it is nice to take children on a trip. The cabins are relatively close to each other so that the days are not too long. There is a lot of water and streams along the way, which breaks up the trips and makes it exciting for children to join in the mountains.

From Hardangervidda via Trolltunga to Skjeggedal

If you stand on Sandhaug, you are in the middle of Hardangervidda. Moving on from cabin to cabin westwards is a nature experience of the rare. Here you really get to experience the transition from mountain to fjord at its most beautiful, and not least the fantastic Trolltunga.

Three-day round trip south of Hardangervidda

SignaTUR MASSIV: 4 stage - Hardangervidda lengthwise

This trip is the last leg of the long-distance route MASSIV. It is a magnificent trip and is open to anyone who has a dream of walking across the western plateau. The feeling of freedom is great when you walk in open landscape on good paths. The western plateau is more hilly than the eastern plateau, and we see Hårteigen in the distance, which is also called "The Wizard of the West" where it towers like a hat close to 1,700 meters above sea level. A lovely trip that is highly recommended!

This tour takes you through all the types of landscape on Hardangervidda. From the wild in the west, across the flat plateau, towards the slightly hilly east. The trip starts with one of the most beautiful ascents to the plateau, from Kinsarvik up Husedalen to Stavali tourist cabin.

This is a nice and easy cabin to cabin trip west on Hardangervidda. The trip goes over Hardangervidda's flattest parts and not least past the area's great "guide" Hårteigen. 

Hardangervidda from mountains to fjords

On this week-long trip, there is great variation in the nature you travel in. You walk from calm mountains in the north of Hardangervidda, to more hilly terrain around the cabins in the west. From Stavali, the Kinso watercourse with its beautiful waterfalls goes to Kinsarvik.
