After the tour, we'll head down to the bonfire area at Finsehytta. Here, you can enjoy a cold drink in your glass and watch the sun set behind the majestic Hardangerjøkulen.

Tour Suggestions

Tour 1: Snowshoeing to Lille Finsenut or Jomfrunuten

Experience winter at Finse on snowshoes! This journey takes us to Lille Finsenut or Jomfrunuten, where we’ll explore frozen waterfalls and marvel at stunning snow formations. After making our way to the top, we're rewarded with an impressive view of the majestic Hardangerjøkulen. This relaxing tour lasts between 3 and 5 hours, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peace of nature. We offer snowshoes for rent.

Tour 2: Ski Trip to Hardangerjøkulen and Søre Kongsnut

For the adventurous, join us on a ski trip to Hardangerjøkulen, via the Blue Ice and up to Søre Kongsnut. Prepare for a journey that challenges you but rewards with incredible views over much of southwest Norway. This trip takes 5-7 hours and is a perfect opportunity to explore the incredible landscape around Finse. Bring your own skis, either mountain skis or randonee.

For over 30 years, I've helped people explore mountain ranges all over the world - from the Alps to the Rockies, from the Himalayas to the Andes, and now, magical Norway.
