Staffed DNT cabins
The staffed cabins are known for their casual and cozy atmosphere. Here, pleasant hosts welcome you with a three-course dinner and good conversations with other mountain people around the fireplace.
The Norwegian Trekking Association has 47 serviced cabins in southern Norway. The cabins are run by a host and offer meal service (often three-course dinners) and accommodation in two to quadruple rooms or dormitories. Most of the cabins have a simple, good standard with electricity, shower and drying room for hiking clothes. Several of the serviced cabins have an unmanned or self-service offer out of season.
Almost all of the serviced cabins are open during Easter and from late June to mid-September. Some are also open during the winter and autumn holidays. Haukeliseter is open all year round.
On UT.no you will always find an up-to-date overview, opening hours and contact information.
