Gjendesheim: Besseggen
At Gjende you can walk the national icon Besseggen. And there are good reasons why Besseggen is one of the country's most popular trips. The fantastic view of wild Jotunheimen and the steep passages give a good feeling of mastery.
Spiterstulen: Galdhøpiggen (2469 m)
On the way west from Glitterheim, you have passed Norway's second highest peak, Glittertind. From Spiterstulen you have the opportunity to hike Norway's highest peak, Galdhøpiggen, before continuing your journey towards the mouth of the Sognefjord.
Leirvassbu: Church (2032 m.a.s.l.)
Kyrkja is located right in the heart of Jotunheimen and can be said to be the signature mountain in this part of Jotunheimen due to its characteristic kyrkjespire-like tip that rises 2032 meters above sea level.
Skogadalsbøen: Gjertvasstind (2351 m)
As you approach Skogadalsbøen, you get a panoramic view of Hurrungane, which is the cradle of Norwegian mountain sports. The area adventurers have had as a playground from Slyngsby's time until the present day. This is a great, but demanding trip to Norway's ninth highest mountain. The peak offers a 360-degree view of large parts of Jotunheimen, and you get a magnificent panoramic view of Hurrungane.
