When 17 May falls on a Friday, everything is set for a grand celebration at Finsehytta. We look forward to a national train that takes us up to the top of Hardangerjøkulen, where nature offers a completely unique setting for the day. Afterwards, there will be an impressive parachute show that really kicks off the celebrations. Party games in the mountain sun create a good atmosphere among the guests, and when the evening comes, we gather for a festive dinner with a party buffet and nice company. It will be a national day where traditions meet the tranquility of the mountains, and we can really lower our shoulders and enjoy an unforgettable weekend at Finse.

End of Season

The ski season is coming to an end at Finse these days as well. Although the snow will probably lie in the mountains for many weeks to come, the week of 17 May is one of the last weeks with good skiing conditions, and the last opening weekend at Finsehytta. Use this long weekend to end the season in the best possible way and celebrate the national day with unforgettable experiences in the mountains!
