Activities with the Children's Hiking Team 🎊
📅 September 30th - October 4th
In week 40, we will be visited by a tour leader/activity leader who will take you on a trip or activity. The activity offer is free for Finsehytta's overnight guests. Children who participate must always have an adult with them on the activities. Other adults can participate in the activities with the children or go for walks alone in the area or with old and new adult friends.
Programme of activities
The activity program will be hung up in the reception at the cabin the night before. The activity day outside is normally from 10 am to 4 pm. Outdoor activities are organized that include walks, games, campfire lunch and other fun in the immediate area around the cabin. There will be activities and fun for the whole family.
From Finsehytta you have many great hiking opportunities right outside the door. Whether you want to climb peaks, visit unique hiking destinations or simply stroll on Rallarvege, we are sure that you will find a tour that suits you.
Hike to the foot of the Hardangerjøkulen glacier
Distance: 5 kilometers
This hike starts from Finse and follows a path south to the foot of Blåisen. This is one of the outlet glaciers of Hardangerjøkulen and often a week point for glacier hiking in the summer.
Day trip to unique Kyrkjedøri
Distance: 10 km
Kyrkjedøri is one of the most distinctive landmarks in Skarvheimen. And this passport you can not only see clearly, you can also feel it. Like an open door, it channels the wind through Hallingskarvet.
Round trip around Jomfrunuten
On a trip around Jomfrunuten, you can walk over the old seabed and see neatly sorted stone rings.
