Our café is open every day from 12:00-16:00. 12:00-18:00 during week-ends.

Our lunch menu includes stone oven-baked pizza, hot soup with focaccia, fresh cinnamon buns and waffles with sour cream and jam. Most days, we also offer biscuits, or other cakes. We also serve hot drinks like coffee, tea, and cocoa with or without cream.

Dinner

A three-course dinner at Finsehytta is the perfect ending to a day of outdoor activities. The menu varies from day to day, adapting to the season. We base our dishes on traditional flavors and local ingredients, adding our own twist. The result is a three-course dinner with local tastes. Every Thursday, we serve traditional Norwegian "komle" with accompaniments, and on Saturdays, we have a buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes.

Finsehytta 1223 microbrewery

We have a full alcohol license and Norway's highest microbrwery: Finse 1223 Microbrewery.

Just like our food, the beer at Finsehytta is locally sourced. It's brewed at our own brewery using pure and fresh mountain water, barley malt, hop flowers, and yeast.

The Local Produce Project

DNT focuses on local and sustainable food. With local and seasonal cuisine, DNT's staffed cabins contribute to sustainable food, nature experiences, and culinary adventures going hand in hand. DNT collaborates with, among others, the Norwegian Farmers' Union and Organic Norway, and Innovation Norway provides financial support for the project.
