Route selection
Rallarvegen is Norway's finest bike ride, and an outdoor experience out of the ordinary. Below you will find a description of the cycling route.
Rallarvegen is around 80 km long, and we recommend taking your time with breaks along the way. Although it is possible to cycle the route faster, a leisurely pace with frequent stops will make the trip both safer and more eventful. Please note that strong winds and bad weather can make the trip more challenging and time-consuming than expected.
Choose the route that works best for you and those you are hiking with. Most people choose to start at Finse, and cycle down to Flom in one day (5-7 hours). If you want to cycle the entire Rallarvegen you start at Haugastøl. Many people then choose to take a break at Finse. Read more about the trip here:
