The 17th of May celebration at Finsehytta has a long tradition, and we invite you to an extraordinary celebration in the mountains!

In 2024, in true tradition, there will be a flag-raising ceremony and the national anthem outside Finsehytta at 08:00, followed by breakfast and a 17th of May parade to Hardangerjøkulen. After returning from the glacier, there will be a parachute show featuring 60 skydivers and a 17th of May speech. A more detailed program will be announced closer to the national day.
