On the lunch menu we have stone-baked pizza, toast, hot soup with focaccia, cinnamon rolls, and waffles with sour cream and jam. Pretty much every day we also offer biscuits or other cakes. We also serve hot drinks such as coffee, tea and cocoa with or without cream.

Midday

A three-course dinner at Finsehytta is the icing on the cake after a day of outdoor activities. The menu varies from day to day, and is adapted according to the season. We start with traditional dishes and flavors, and put our own twist on it all. The result is a three-course dinner with local flavors. Every Thursday we have a buffet with side dishes, and on Saturdays we have a buffet with a large selection of hot and cold dishes.

Prices dinner: NOK 430/560 (DNT member/ non-member)

Finsehytta 1223 microbrewery

We have a liquor license with all rights and Norway's highest located microbrewery; Finse 1223 Microbrewery.

In the same way as with the food, the beer at Finsehytta is "short-travelled". It is brewed at Finsehytta's own brewery from pure and fresh mountain water, barley malt, hop blossom and brewer's yeast.

Local food is part of the tour

DNT focuses on local and sustainable food. With local and seasonal food, DNT's serviced cabins contribute to sustainable food, nature experiences and dining experiences go hand in hand. DNT collaborates with, among others, the Norwegian Farmers' Association and Organic Norway, and Innovation Norway supports the project financially.
