Brebua - the self-service cabin at Finse
Brebua is located in the yard of Finsehytta - and is open as a self-service cabin when Finsehytta is closed. There is a large living room, kitchen, 10 bedrooms and toilets. Three of the rooms are adapted for guests who bring dogs.
About the cabin
Brebua has 44 beds and functions as a regular self-service DNT cabin when the serviced Finsehytta is closed. During the periods when the serviced cabin is open, the rooms at Brebua will be included in the capacity of Finsehytta. This means that in most periods of the year, there will be an accommodation offer under the auspices of DNT at Finse.
Equipment
The cabin has all the cooking equipment you need for a pleasant stay, such as full kitchen utensils, crockery and bed linen, as well as a good selection of food in the provisioning room. There is no electricity in the cabin, but gas, wood burning and candles as a light source. The wood in the cabin should only be used for lighting the wood stoves, not for bonfires outside. Guests arrange their own cooking, water collection, washing dishes, washing floors, and otherwise cleaning the cabin inside and outside. A linen bag or your own bed linen must always be used when staying overnight. Notices with cabin rules and prices can be found at the cabin.
